Godalming Museum operates as a Charitable Trust and is completely dependent on the services of volunteers. Without them it could not continue to grow and develop as it has done over recent years, and would no longer be able to offer free entry .
The museum plays an important role in the life of the town providing a valued service to schools and also offering a Local History Library, Exhibitions, and a Gift Shop. The Coffee Shop is an extremely friendly social meeting place for all ages.
Our volunteers run the museum's reception and shop, and help our visitors to make best use of the facilities.
If you would like to help and wish to know more about volunteering please come and talk to us during opening hours, or - it need not be a great commitment and we are extremely flexible in our approach.
